ECOOP 2026
Mon 29 June - Fri 3 July 2026 Brussels, Belgium

ECOOP 2026 will take place at VUB Main Campus in Elsene (Brussels).

Please be advised that a major K-pop concert coincides with ECOOP 2026. As a result, hotels across Brussels are expected to fill up quickly and prices may be higher than usual. We strongly encourage you to secure your accommodation well in advance and consider various options, including hotels, serviced apartments, and short-term rentals throughout the broader Brussels area.

Discounted Accomodation

We have managed to secure a partnership with Motel One Brussels and are pleased to offer the following options for attendees.

Pre-booked rooms

We have secured a block of 35 rooms at a fixed rate of €160 per night. PhD students will be given priority access to these rooms on a first come, first served basis, with any remaining rooms released to other participants after the early registration deadline. Room reservations will be handled via the conference registration form.

Discount code

All other attendees can benefit from a 15% discount for bookings made directly through the Motel One platform. The discount code will be provided in the confirmation email following the completion of your registration.

Getting Around Brussels: Tips for Finding Accommodation

Don’t feel limited to hotels right next to the venue:

  • Brussels has an excellent public transport network (metro, tram, and bus) that makes the city very easy to navigate. Even from the opposite side of the city, you can expect to reach the ECOOP’26 venue in under an hour. The city’s public transport operator, STIB-MIVB, has a full English-language website at stib-mivb.be.

  • The venue is also well connected to the Brussels suburbs via suburban rail services (similar to the RER in Paris or the S-Bahn in Berlin), with direct access through Etterbeek train station. Timetables are available on the Belgian Rail website at belgiantrain.be.

  • To help you plan, we have put together a Google Map showing the venue (in yellow), the metro and tram network (in color), and suburban train stations within 30 minutes of the venue (in grey) — view it here.

  • For a seamless travel experience, we also recommend the Floya app, the official mobility app of the Brussels Capital Region, which brings together public transport, shared bikes, scooters, and cars all in one place.

Finally, we recommend keeping a close eye on accommodation prices on booking platforms. Prices spiked recently but have since come down somewhat, so it is worth checking regularly for good deals.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a lively, well-attended, and productive ECOOP 2026!
